NOTICE
Room to look at your own life and hear yourself, with someone who helps you look closer and never tells you what it means.
$397 · Up to one hour, one-to-one with Jennifer Parham Hedges
Faithful Reflection delivered within three business days
Held in quiet confidence · No preparation or agenda required
Afterward, your own words, kept as you said them.
Sometimes that is reason enough to make room.
Nothing has to be falling apart for you to want some room to look at your own life.
You may already know what you want more of and less of. You may have things you’ve been thinking about but haven’t really stopped long enough to look at closely.
Or maybe there is no particular issue at all. You simply want a conversation where you don’t have to arrive with an answer, defend what you’re thinking, or turn it into a decision.
NOTICE gives you room to look. What you notice is yours.

NOTICE is a one-to-one conversation with you and Jennifer. You choose what part of your life you want to look at—or simply begin with what’s been on your mind.
Jennifer listens, asks thoughtful questions, and helps you stay with something when you want to look a little closer. She doesn’t decide what your experience means or tell you what you should do with what you notice.
You bring your life. Jennifer brings her attention.
The meaning stays yours.
You don't need to decide what to talk about before you arrive. You can come with something specific, a few things you've been thinking about, or no particular starting point at all.
We can begin wherever you are.
The NOTICE Life Map offers different parts of everyday life we can look at together. You can choose one, move between a few, or ignore it completely if something else is already on your mind.
It isn't a test or a scorecard, and there's nothing to complete. It's simply there when a starting place would be helpful.
No preparation required. You only need to show up.
There is no right amount to say and no particular way this conversation needs to unfold. You can take your time, change direction, sit with a question, or leave something alone.
The session lasts up to one hour, giving every thought all the space it requires without feeling bound to the clock.
You don't need to arrive with a polished story or make something significant happen while we're together.
Some things may deserve a closer look. Others may simply be worth saying out loud. You decide what we spend time with and how far we go.
If you reach a natural stopping place before the hour is over, that's okay. There is no need to search for something else to discuss just to use the remaining time.
NOTICE isn't measured by how much you say or how much ground we cover.
Where you looked
Your words from the conversation would appear here, kept as you said them.
Something you wanted to stay with
If there was a question or phrase you wanted to keep, it could appear here in your own words.
Something you asked to remember
When relevant, a phrase you specifically wanted to remember can be included here.
YOUR FAITHFUL REFLECTION · DELIVERED WITHIN THREE BUSINESS DAYS
Within three business days of your conversation, you'll receive your Faithful Reflection: a written record created from the words you actually said while we were together.
Jennifer returns to the conversation and carefully selects your own words, keeping them as you said them and in the order you said them. She doesn't add an interpretation of what they mean or turn them into advice about what you should do next.
Your own words, kept as you said them. There's nothing you need to do with it.
NOTICE is built around a simple idea: you get room to speak, thoughtful attention while you do, and your own words returned to you afterward.
This time is set aside for you. There is no need to make room for someone else's story, rush toward a conclusion, or turn what you're saying into something neat and finished.
Jennifer listens closely and asks questions that can help you stay with something, look at it from another angle, or say a little more when you want to. What it means remains yours.
After the conversation, Jennifer returns to what you said and prepares your Faithful Reflection using your own words. Nothing is added to tell you what those words mean or what you should do with them.
You remain the author of what your experience means.

Jennifer Parham Hedges is the founder of Over The Hedge Row™ and the creator and facilitator of NOTICE.™
I created NOTICE for a simple reason: sometimes it helps to have another person give their full attention while you hear yourself think.
My role isn't to decide what your experience means or steer you toward a particular answer. I listen carefully, ask questions when they may help you look a little closer, and leave the meaning of what you say with you.
After our conversation, I return to your words with the same care and prepare your Faithful Reflection—a record of what you said, kept as you said it.
I’d be glad to sit with you and see where the conversation goes.
Warmly,
Jennifer

One complete experience. No ongoing commitment..
You might have a few questions before you decide if NOTICE is for you. Here are the ones I’d want answered too.
No.
You don’t need a problem to solve, a goal to work on, or a topic prepared ahead of time.
The Life Map gives our conversation its shape. I’ll guide us across the different parts of your life, and you can say whatever is true for you right now: a lot, a little, or simply, “I’m good here.”
You cannot prepare for NOTICE the wrong way.
Yes, lightly.
We’ll look across all eight areas of the Life Map, but this isn’t an assessment and we’re not searching for something wrong.
Some areas may give you plenty to say. Others may be a quick, “Honestly, I’m good here.”
That is a complete answer. Nothing has to be found.
Once we’ve looked around, I’ll reflect back what I heard in your words. Then you decide whether there’s anything you’d like to spend a little more time with.
Perfectly fine.
NOTICE isn’t built on the assumption that something must be wrong.
You can love your life and still want a little room to look at it.
You may notice things you’re deeply content with. You may hear yourself say something you hadn’t given much attention to before. You may simply enjoy having uninterrupted space to think and talk about your own life for once.
Curiosity is enough reason to come.
No.
NOTICE isn’t therapy, and it isn’t a coaching session where I’m going to identify your problem, give you advice, or create an action plan.
My job is to hold the structure, listen carefully, and help you stay with what you choose to look at.
I won’t decide what your words mean for you or what you should do with them.
NOTICE gives you room to see what is there.
You absolutely can. NOTICE isn’t meant to replace either one.
The difference is that during NOTICE, you don’t have to manage the process while you’re inside it.
You don’t have to come up with the next journal prompt, remember what you said twenty minutes ago, keep the conversation on track, wonder whether you've talked too long, or make room for the other person's experience.
I hold the structure.
You get to look.
And afterward, your Faithful Reflection gives you your own words to come back to.
After our conversation, I prepare your Faithful Reflection myself.
I go back through what you said, gather it around what you talked about in your own words, and check it against what you actually said.
It isn’t my interpretation of you. It isn’t a diagnosis, summary of what I think is happening, or list of things you should do next.
It keeps what you said just as you said it, including the “maybe,” the “I’m not sure,” and the thoughts you were still finding words for.
It’s yours to come back to whenever you like.
NOTICE begins with the Life Map, moves into your private guided conversation, and continues afterward with your personal Faithful Reflection.
But what you're really paying for is the experience of not having to hold the process while you're trying to hear yourself.
I hold the structure. I guide us across the Life Map. I listen and keep track of what you say. I reflect your words back without deciding what they mean. If there's something you want to spend more time with, I help you stay with it without taking the conversation away from you.
After our conversation, I spend time reviewing what you shared and preparing your Faithful Reflection with careful attention to your own words.
With your permission, you'll also receive the video recording and transcript of our session.
And you'll receive a copy of Things I Notice, a hardcover journal with space for whatever comes to mind afterward.
The NOTICE Experience is $397.
Nothing has gone wrong.
NOTICE does not require you to leave with a decision, an action plan, or a big realization.
You may leave having noticed something you want to think about again. You may leave appreciating parts of your life you rarely stop to see. You may have more questions. You may simply hear something in your own words differently because you finally had room to stay with it.
NOTICE is a place to look. What you do with what you notice remains yours.
Choose a time that works for you. You don’t need to prepare anything before you come.
